This week, we are speaking with Chimwemwe Ngona, President of THR Malawi, who talks to us about the purpose of his organisation and how the WVA is helping to further tobacco harm reduction efforts.

At THR Malawi we share essential and useful information on tobacco harm reduction and nicotine science. We seek to put science-based information in the hands of consumers so that they are able to make more informed decisions regarding their health.

We believe that every smoker is unique, all reduced risk products including vaping products should therefore be made available and affordable for an average tobacco smoker in Malawi. We hope the WVA can help amplify our voices so that concerned stakeholders can take the necessary measures to ensure there are safer nicotine products in Malawi.
