Beating Cancer Plan – We need your voice!

Back Vaping, Beat Cancer – this has been the rallying cry from thousands of vapers from all over Europe to the lawmaker who released the landmark Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan today.

We have been speaking about the millions of Europeans who have quit smoking thanks to vaping, and heard from so many who told us their stories. We held a protest in front of the European parliament in December to remind lawmakers that vaping will benefit public health.

But, today, the EU Commissions version of the plan sadly ignores all the facts, the testimonies from former smokers, and heaps of scientific evidence that proves vaping is less harmful than smoking.

The plan as it stands today not only does not back vaping, it attempts to equate it with smoking. They are proposing flavour bans, outdoor bans and higher prices for vaping.

It is an ideological approach that will not help fight cancer, quite the contrary. By making vaping less accessible, the plan may return hundreds of thousands of former smokers back to cigarettes.

However, this is not over, and we can stand up for the right thing. The plan will now be debated in the European Parliament and by national governments. This is OUR CHANCE to raise our voices even louder and tell Members of the European Parliament and national politicians to stand up and put vaping in the plan.

And you can do this right now!

Go to our page www.wvaold.wpengine.com/MEP and write to your elected representative, tell them your story or why you think vaping should be in the plan.

Together we can Back Vaping and Beat Cancer.

Vaping can save 200 million lives and flavours play a key role in helping smokers quit. However, policymakers want to limit or ban flavours, putting our effort to end smoking-related deaths in jeopardy.
