Peter began his EU affairs career at the European Parliament before working at the BBC’s Brussels bureau. Over the past 13 years, he has developed expertise in consumer product regulation, artificial intelligence, highly regulated industries, international trade, and harmonised customs classifications. His experience spans not only the EU institutions but also several Member State capitals where the most crucial decisions on European policy are made.
Bill Wirtz is the Senior Policy Analyst for the Consumer Choice Center, focusing specifically on evidence-based policymaking, agricultural and trade policy, as well as lifestyle choice.
Originally from Luxembourg, Bill publishes in German, French, and English. His work has appeared in major outlets worldwide, including Fox News, Sky News, Le Monde, Times of London, Le Figaro, Die Welt, The Hill, and more.
We’ll also have members of the WVA team and partners who are leading the fight for harm reduction and consumer rights globally.
