The Italian consumer association ANPVU joins the WVA

The World Vapers’ Alliance is delighted to welcome a new partner association in Europe: Association Nationale de Protection de la Vie Privée (ANVPV). With COP9 just around the corner and the Tobacco Products Directive in Europe being discussed, it’s more important than ever for vapers everywhere to come together.

ANPVU (National Association for United Vapers) represents Italian vapers, defending their rights and interests, fighting bad regulation and combating misinformation. The President of ANPVU, Camine Canino, said:

“ANPVU’s partnership with the World Vapers Alliance marks a significant milestone in the integration and unification of vapers in Europe. In the coming months, decisive challenges await us such as the TPD revision, which also regulates vaping, as well as the discussion of the Tax Directive. That is why it will be important to work together closely in order to make the voice of the vapers heard. We hope this represents the beginning of a long and fruitful partnership.”

Michel Landl, Director of the WVA, welcomed ANPVU:

I am honoured to welcome ANPVU to the largest group of vaping consumers worldwide. This partnership will help make Italian vapers voices heard even louder. It will be crucial for the future of vaping to make sure politicians on all levels can’t ignore consumers any longer. We are eager to help empower Italian vapers to fight back against vaping detractors and ensure that many more have the same opportunities we had to switch from smoking to vaping.

ANPVU is the 26th organization partnering with the WVA.
