Gen\u00e8ve, 30 oktober 2025 \u2013 World Vapers' Alliance h\u00f6ll en ljusshow i protest vid COP11-arenan f\u00f6r att avsl\u00f6ja den oheliga alliansen mellan V\u00e4rldsh\u00e4lsoorganisationen och EU-kommissionen. Protesten kr\u00e4vde att konsumenterna \u00e4ntligen f\u00e5r en r\u00f6st i beslut som hotar skademinskande produkter som vaping och nikotinp\u00e5sar, vilka f\u00f6r n\u00e4rvarande tvingas in i snabbare och h\u00e5rdare reglering genom samordnad lobbyverksamhet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Michael Landl, chef f\u00f6r WVA, sa: \u201cEU-kommissionen skriver in f\u00f6rbud i sin officiella COP-position, och f\u00f6rnekar den sedan. Alberto Gomez Hernandez, policyansvarig p\u00e5 WVA, tillade: \u201cAtt f\u00f6rbjuda smaker och inf\u00f6ra h\u00e5rda restriktioner f\u00f6r mindre skadliga alternativ kommer inte att skydda n\u00e5gon.
