Bryssel, Belgien, 23 april 2024<\/strong> \u2013 World Vapers' Alliance (WVA) uppmanar EU:s h\u00e4lsoministrar till omedelbara \u00e5tg\u00e4rder f\u00f6r att anta vetenskapsbaserade strategier f\u00f6r att minska tobaksskador mitt i f\u00f6rseningarna i tobakslagstiftningen. Uppmaningen kommer samtidigt som h\u00e4lsoministrarna samlas i Bryssel f\u00f6r ett tv\u00e5dagarsm\u00f6te. EPSCO-m\u00f6te<\/a> d\u00e4r den europeiska planen f\u00f6r att bek\u00e4mpa cancer \u00e4r ett av de viktigaste diskussions\u00e4mnena.<\/p>\n

Michael Landl, chef f\u00f6r WVA, kritiserar nuvarande politik, <\/strong>med angivande, \u201cEU-kommissionen \u00e4r d\u00f6v f\u00f6r vetenskapen om tobakspolitik. Det \u00e4r kristallklart att s\u00e4krare nikotinalternativ som vaping eller p\u00e5sar \u00e4r betydligt mindre skadliga \u00e4n r\u00f6kning och effektivt hj\u00e4lper till att sluta r\u00f6ka.
