Bryssel, 7 november 2023 \u2013<\/strong> Idag har EU:s underkommitt\u00e9 f\u00f6r folkh\u00e4lsa (SANT) godk\u00e4nt vapings potentiella roll f\u00f6r att st\u00f6dja r\u00f6kavv\u00e4njning.<\/p>\n

Parlamentets rapport om icke-smittsamma sjukdomar <\/a>erk\u00e4nner att vaping \u00e4r ett s\u00e4tt f\u00f6r r\u00f6kare att gradvis sluta. SANT:s rekommendation att f\u00f6rbjuda vaping i vissa offentliga omr\u00e5den har dock v\u00e4ckt debatt och oro.<\/p>\n

Michael Landl, chef f\u00f6r World Vapers' Alliance, ger en nyanserad syn p\u00e5 rapporten:<\/p>\n

\u201cParlamentets erk\u00e4nnande av att vapning kan hj\u00e4lpa r\u00f6kare att sluta \u00e4r ett steg i r\u00e4tt riktning. \u201cAtt behandla vaping p\u00e5 samma s\u00e4tt som r\u00f6kning i offentliga utrymmen skickar fel budskap till r\u00f6kare som vill sluta. Det finns inga bevis f\u00f6r att passiv vaping \u00e4r skadligt.
