WVA:s vape-turn\u00e9 har nu n\u00e5tt Prag d\u00e4r de uppmuntrar politiker att st\u00f6dja vapning i syfte att minska tobaksskador.<\/p>\n

F\u00f6rsta lanserades sommaren 2021<\/a> n\u00e4r WVA avt\u00e4ckte en ny graffitiv\u00e4ggm\u00e5lning utanf\u00f6r Europaparlamentet med ett tydligt budskap: \u201c19 miljoner liv skulle kunna r\u00e4ddas i Europa genom att st\u00f6dja vaping.\u201d<\/p>\n

I Strasbourg inledde WVA-representanterna kampanjen den h\u00e4r g\u00e5ngen med flera ledam\u00f6ter av Europaparlamentet f\u00f6r att presentera sina \u201cDirektivet om vapingprodukter<\/a>\u201d som visar hur vaping kan anv\u00e4ndas som ett verktyg f\u00f6r att uppfylla dess fulla potential f\u00f6r folkh\u00e4lsan. Detta \u00e5tf\u00f6ljdes av en konstinstallation med titeln \u201cL\u00e5t inte 19 miljoner liv falla\u201d, ett budskap som kommer att spridas \u00f6ver tio st\u00e4der i sex l\u00e4nder mellan oktober och november 2022.<\/p>\n

WVA-kampanjen n\u00e5r \u00d6steuropa<\/h4>\n

D\u00e4refter lanserade WVA kampanjen i Prag d\u00e4r gruppens direktiv om vapingprodukter presenterades f\u00f6r h\u00e4lsoministeriet i Tjeckien. Dessutom anordnade WVA en protestkonstinstallation i centrala Prag som visade en upps\u00e4ttning fallande dominobrickor som representerar liv som d\u00f6tt av r\u00f6krelaterade sjukdomar.<\/p>\n

WVA-direkt\u00f6ren Michael Landl f\u00f6rklarade varf\u00f6r anv\u00e4ndningen av s\u00e4krare alternativ kan r\u00e4dda tusentals liv. \u201cVarje \u00e5r d\u00f6r mer \u00e4n 700 000 m\u00e4nniskor i Europa och 17 000 i Tjeckien av sjukdomar orsakade av tobaksr\u00f6kning. Det h\u00e4r \u00e4r katastrofala siffror om vi t\u00e4nker p\u00e5 hur m\u00e5nga liv som skulle kunna r\u00e4ddas genom konsumentv\u00e4nlig reglering av vaping. D\u00e4rf\u00f6r hoppas vi att den tjeckiska regeringen ytterligare \u00f6kar sitt engagemang f\u00f6r skademinskning. Den tjeckiska regeringen m\u00e5ste ocks\u00e5 motverka attacker mot vaping och andra mindre skadliga alternativ p\u00e5 EU-niv\u00e5.\u201d #BackVapingBeatSmoking-kampanjen <\/a>tj\u00e4nar till att \u00f6ka medvetenheten om att 19 miljoner liv i Europa skulle kunna r\u00e4ddas om vi anammar vaping som ett kraftfullt verktyg f\u00f6r att sluta r\u00f6ka i Tjeckien och p\u00e5 EU-niv\u00e5.\u201d<\/p>\n
