P\u00e5 senare tid kommer det in fler och fler rapporter om strejker, borttagningar och andra restriktioner som utf\u00e4rdas till h\u00f6ger och v\u00e4nster mot YouTubers som f\u00f6respr\u00e5kar minskning av tobaksskador. Nick Green tweets<\/a> att de till och med g\u00e5r tillbaka s\u00e5 l\u00e5ngt som 2009 p\u00e5 hans kanal, vilket p\u00e5verkar \u00f6ver 150 av hans videor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

S\u00e5 vad ger?<\/span><\/p>\n

YouTube har en algoritm som plockar upp webbadresser p\u00e5 enheter som en Youtuber kan visa\/f\u00f6rklara, men s\u00e5 verkar inte vara fallet eftersom en majoritet av videor flaggas.<\/span>ouTube har b\u00f6rjat \u00e5ldersbegr\u00e4nsa vissa videor, utf\u00e4rdat varningar och till och med g\u00e5tt s\u00e5 l\u00e5ngt som att ta bort dessa videor helt.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u00e5t mig s\u00e4ga att personligen \u00e4r dessa videor ov\u00e4rderliga. YouTubers som Nick Green (GrimmGreen), Matt Culley (SMM), Phil Busardo och otaliga andra har blivit m\u00e5ltavlor och har varit en k\u00e4lla till kunskap f\u00f6r alla vejpare; nu \u00e4r n\u00e5gra av dem bara en strykning fr\u00e5n ett permanent f\u00f6rbud.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Vaping \u00e4r den mest effektiva formen av tobaksskademinskning. Miljontals anv\u00e4ndare har haft framg\u00e5ng med detta hj\u00e4lpmedel f\u00f6r att sluta r\u00f6ka och har kunnat sluta r\u00f6ka l\u00e4ttant\u00e4ndliga cigaretter. Royal College of Physicians har uttalat sig om att vaping faktiskt \u00e4r s\u00e4krare \u00e4n att r\u00f6ka, men USA sprider fortfarande felinformation och detta verkar sprida sig till sajter som Youtube, vilket f\u00e5r dem att flagga dessa videor f\u00f6r att "skydda ungdomar".\u201c<\/span><\/p>\n

F\u00f6rutom att vi inte kan f\u00e5 tillg\u00e5ng till information om dessa produkter, g\u00e5r vi ocks\u00e5 miste om det budskap som finns i m\u00e5nga av dessa videor, vilket v\u00e4rlden s\u00e5 desperat beh\u00f6ver just nu. Felaktig information om vaping sprider sig \u00f6ver hela v\u00e4rlden och vi beh\u00f6ver en plattform d\u00e4r vi kan dela v\u00e5ra erfarenheter och v\u00e5r sanning. Vuxna r\u00f6kare f\u00f6rtj\u00e4nar att k\u00e4nna till fakta om vaping. Tyv\u00e4rr skr\u00e4mmer informationen fr\u00e5n folkh\u00e4lsomyndigheten h\u00e4r i USA dem fr\u00e5n att prova dessa alternativ, vilket i sin tur f\u00e5r dem att r\u00f6ka cigaretter.<\/span><\/p>\n

I verkligheten finns det mycket mer tvivelaktigt inneh\u00e5ll p\u00e5 YouTube som jag inte skulle vilja att barn skulle ha tillg\u00e5ng till. S\u00e5 varf\u00f6r l\u00e5ter YouTube det inneh\u00e5llet passera samtidigt som de bidrar till felinformationen kring vaping och nikotin?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

S\u00e5 l\u00e5t oss alla ta en tyst minut f\u00f6r de borttagna och f\u00f6rbjudna videorna fr\u00e5n det f\u00f6rflutna och hoppas att YouTube fram\u00f6ver kan hitta ett s\u00e4tt att g\u00f6ra dessa videor tillg\u00e4ngliga f\u00f6r vuxna samtidigt som ungdomar skyddas fr\u00e5n att ha tillg\u00e5ng till dem. <\/span><\/p>\n
