Tillk\u00e4nnagivandet \u00f6verraskade verkligen m\u00e5nga, s\u00e4rskilt med tanke p\u00e5 att Sverige 2018 uppn\u00e5dde r\u00f6kfritt tillst\u00e5nd genom att godk\u00e4nna anv\u00e4ndningen av ytterligare ett nikotinalternativ. Naturligtvis protesterade experter och grupper f\u00f6r att minska tobaksskador mot f\u00f6rbudet och betonade de konsekvenser det skulle f\u00e5 f\u00f6r f\u00f6re detta r\u00f6kare.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Landl, chef f\u00f6r World Vapers&#039; Alliance (WVA), hade h\u00e4vdat att om \u00e5tg\u00e4rden tr\u00e4dde i kraft skulle de 150 000 f\u00f6re detta r\u00f6kare i Sverige som \u00e4r <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vapingpost.com\/2021\/12\/09\/eu-tpd-ignores-swedens-successful-strategy-which-led-to-a-smokefree-nation\/\">vapar just nu ist\u00e4llet<\/a>, kan tvingas att \u00e5terg\u00e5 till r\u00f6kning. \u201cAtt f\u00f6rbjuda smaker kan tvinga tusentals tidigare r\u00f6kare i Sverige att \u00e5teruppta vanan. Forskning visar att vejpare \u00e4r mer \u00e4n dubbelt s\u00e5 ben\u00e4gna att sluta med smaker. Om de f\u00f6rbjuds skulle 150 000 vejpare \u2013 motsvarande n\u00e4stan hela Uppsalas befolkning \u2013 f\u00f6rlora sina smaker och kunna \u00e5terg\u00e5 till r\u00f6kning. Detta skulle vara ett stort bakslag i kampen mot r\u00f6kning och dess relaterade sjukdomar.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I detta syfte hade WVA h\u00e5llit en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vapingpost.com\/2022\/04\/08\/wva-art-installation-message-flavours-matter-flavours-help-smokers-quit\/\">demonstration<\/a> och togs ut p\u00e5 gatorna med en skylt med texten \u201cSmaker spelar roll\u201d, som f\u00f6rklarade hur vape-smaker hj\u00e4lper r\u00f6kare att sluta r\u00f6ka.
