En av de fr\u00e4msta anledningarna bakom valet \u00e4r att hindra barn fr\u00e5n att prova denna nya produktkategori. Det finns inga bevis som direkt kopplar smaksatta e-cigaretter till eventuellt r\u00f6kberoende hos ton\u00e5ringar: gruppens beteende och viljan att prova n\u00e5got f\u00f6rbjudet \u00e4r tv\u00e5 viktiga aspekter i samband med barns beroende. Dessutom \u00e4r det m\u00f6jligt att en ton\u00e5ring som n\u00e4rmar sig vapning \u00e4r en typ av ton\u00e5ring som skulle ha provat r\u00f6kning \u00e4nd\u00e5.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under de senaste dagarna har det svenska socialdepartementet\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.regeringen.se\/pressmeddelanden\/2022\/02\/hardare-regler-for-tobaksfria-nikotinprodukter-och-e-vatskor-ska-starka-skyddet-av-barn-och-unga\/\">meddelade<\/a>\u00a0Planen \u00e4r att f\u00f6rbjuda alla smaker utom tobakssmak.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enligt ett pressmeddelande fr\u00e5n World Vapers Alliance kan 150 000 f\u00f6re detta r\u00f6kare i Sverige tvingas \u00e5terg\u00e5 till r\u00f6kning om regeringen g\u00e5r vidare med sitt f\u00f6reslagna f\u00f6rbud mot vapingsmaker.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Michael Landl, chef f\u00f6r World Vapers&#039; Alliance, kommenterade:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cAtt f\u00f6rbjuda smaker skulle kunna tvinga tusentals f\u00f6re detta r\u00f6kare i Sverige att \u00e5teruppta vanan. Forskning visar att det \u00e4r mer \u00e4n dubbelt s\u00e5 sannolikt att vejpare slutar med smaker. Om de f\u00f6rbjuds skulle 150 000 vejpare \u2013 motsvarande n\u00e4stan hela Uppsalas befolkning \u2013 f\u00f6rlora sina smaker och kunna \u00e5terg\u00e5 till r\u00f6kning. Detta skulle vara ett stort bakslag i kampen mot r\u00f6kning och dess relaterade sjukdomar.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cDet \u00e4r oroande att ett land som Sverige, k\u00e4nt f\u00f6r sin pragmatism, har en s\u00e5 h\u00e5rdh\u00e4nt inst\u00e4llning till vaping. Politikerna har tappat sitt sunda f\u00f6rnuft, och det \u00e4r vapare och r\u00f6kare som kommer att drabbas.\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regeringen vill reglera alternativa nikotinprodukter, inklusive vaping och nikotinp\u00e5sar, h\u00e5rdare. De nya reglerna och \u00e4ndringarna \u00e4r planerade att tr\u00e4da i kraft den 1 augusti 2022, men delar av f\u00f6rslagen kommer att tr\u00e4da i kraft den 1 januari 2023 respektive 1 januari 2024 f\u00f6r att ge intressenterna tid att anpassa sig till de nya kraven.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enligt Yale School of Public Health \u00e4r vaping av smaksatta e-cigaretter associerat med en 230%\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/32501490\/\">\u00f6kad sannolikhet f\u00f6r r\u00f6kavv\u00e4njning hos vuxna<\/a>. Genom att inte p\u00e5minna vejpare om smaken av tobak \u00e4r det mer sannolikt att smakerna avh\u00e5ller folk fr\u00e5n traditionella cigaretter.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tv\u00e5 tredjedelar av vuxna anv\u00e4nder andra smaker \u00e4n tobak.
