O grupo alertou que a reuni\u00e3o corre o risco de se tornar uma \u2019c\u00e2mara de eco para pol\u00edticas ultrapassadas e anticient\u00edficas\u201c.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A WVA instou a OMS a reconhecer a redu\u00e7\u00e3o de danos do tabaco como uma ferramenta para ajudar os fumantes a fazer a transi\u00e7\u00e3o para alternativas menos prejudiciais, afirmando que as perspectivas dos consumidores e as descobertas cient\u00edficas sobre produtos como cigarros eletr\u00f4nicos, tabaco aquecido e sach\u00eas de nicotina devem fazer parte do debate pol\u00edtico.<\/p>\n<p>Eles observaram que a THR (Terapia de Redu\u00e7\u00e3o de Riscos) visa minimizar os riscos \u00e0 sa\u00fade decorrentes do uso do tabaco, promovendo op\u00e7\u00f5es de menor risco.
