O que eles far\u00e3o para reverter essa situa\u00e7\u00e3o?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Os profissionais de sa\u00fade tendem a ter bastante confian\u00e7a na FDA e presumem que, se algo \u00e9 aprovado pela FDA, \u00e9 porque passou por um rigoroso conjunto de regras e testes para obter essa aprova\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ultimamente, por\u00e9m, apesar da opini\u00e3o dos profissionais de sa\u00fade, o p\u00fablico em geral est\u00e1 menos impressionado com o processo decis\u00f3rio da FDA. Muitos consumidores de cigarros eletr\u00f4nicos est\u00e3o expressando suas preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es aos vendedores de lojas especializadas. A principal preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o dos consumidores se deve \u00e0 forma como o processo de PMTA (Autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o de Comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o Pr\u00e9via) est\u00e1 sendo conduzido, causando-lhes pavor de que sua op\u00e7\u00e3o preferida para reduzir danos seja retirada, enquanto os cigarros convencionais permanecem dispon\u00edveis nas prateleiras de postos de gasolina, lojas de conveni\u00eancia e at\u00e9 mesmo alguns supermercados.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parar de fumar \u00e9 extremamente dif\u00edcil. Ex-fumantes adultos que agora usam produtos de vaporiza\u00e7\u00e3o para evitar a combust\u00e3o sabem o qu\u00e3o dif\u00edcil foi encontrar uma op\u00e7\u00e3o que funcionasse para eles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quem j\u00e1 passou por isso sabe que nem todos os sabores ou dispositivos s\u00e3o iguais. A maioria teme que, se perder seu m\u00e9todo preferido de redu\u00e7\u00e3o de danos, ser\u00e1 tentada a voltar a fumar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O Reagan-Udall <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/reaganudall.org\/operational-evaluation-fdas-tobacco-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">an\u00e1lise<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> O Centro de Produtos de Tabaco deixou claro que a FDA precisa explicar detalhadamente como determina o que \u00e9 apropriado para a prote\u00e7\u00e3o da sa\u00fade p\u00fablica (APPH) e como chegou a essa conclus\u00e3o, visto que as decis\u00f5es tomadas at\u00e9 o momento parecem entrar em conflito com a ci\u00eancia e os dados atuais sobre o uso de cigarros eletr\u00f4nicos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Os consumidores agora est\u00e3o c\u00e9ticos em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s informa\u00e7\u00f5es divulgadas pela FDA, pois realmente acreditam que uma ag\u00eancia que n\u00e3o se importa se eles forem for\u00e7ados a voltar a fumar cigarros n\u00e3o poderia se importar com a sa\u00fade e o bem-estar deles em geral.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Isso coloca a FDA em uma situa\u00e7\u00e3o grave, j\u00e1 que ela tem a tarefa de <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">com a prote\u00e7\u00e3o da sa\u00fade p\u00fablica, garantindo a seguran\u00e7a, efic\u00e1cia e prote\u00e7\u00e3o de medicamentos para uso humano e veterin\u00e1rio, produtos biol\u00f3gicos e dispositivos m\u00e9dicos; e garantindo a seguran\u00e7a do abastecimento alimentar, cosm\u00e9ticos e produtos que emitem radia\u00e7\u00e3o em nosso pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Os vapers adultos tamb\u00e9m se preocupam com o fato de que, se come\u00e7aram a usar vapes com 24 mg de nicotina, por exemplo, e agora usam 6 mg, o CTP s\u00f3 aprovou pedidos de PMTA para 25 ou 50 mg, e eles n\u00e3o querem usar tanta nicotina.
