W poniedzia\u0142ek 8 listopada Specjalna Komisja Parlamentu Europejskiego ds. Walki z Rakiem zebra\u0142a si\u0119, aby om\u00f3wi\u0107 poprawki do projektu sprawozdania sprawozdawcy.<\/h5>\n

Specjalna Komisja Parlamentu Europejskiego ds. Walki z Rakiem (BECA<\/a>) zosta\u0142a utworzona we wrze\u015bniu 2020 roku i sk\u0142ada si\u0119 z 63 pos\u0142\u00f3w do Parlamentu Europejskiego, 33 cz\u0142onk\u00f3w zwyczajnych i 30 zast\u0119pc\u00f3w. Celem komisji jest zbadanie dzia\u0142a\u0144, jakie UE mo\u017ce podj\u0105\u0107 w walce z rakiem, proponuj\u0105c dzia\u0142ania na ka\u017cdym kluczowym etapie choroby: profilaktyce, diagnostyce, leczeniu, \u017cyciu osoby, kt\u00f3ra pokona\u0142a raka, oraz opiece paliatywnej.<\/p>\n

W dniu 3 lutego 2021 r. Komisja opublikowa\u0142a Plan Europy na rzecz walki z rakiem<\/a> z konsultacje<\/a> na temat planu dzia\u0142ania obowi\u0105zuj\u0105cego od 4 lutego do 3 marca 2020 r. oraz sprawozdania za okres od 4 lutego do 21 maja 2020 r.<\/p>\n

Ten projekt raportu<\/a> Dokument \u201eBeating Cancer\u201d zosta\u0142 w ko\u0144cu opublikowany 25 czerwca i ku rozczarowaniu ekspert\u00f3w ds. redukcji szk\u00f3d wywo\u0142anych paleniem tytoniu, nie uwzgl\u0119dniono w nim potencja\u0142u waporyzacji w walce z nowotworami wywo\u0142anymi paleniem. Dyrektor \u015awiatowego Stowarzyszenia Waper\u00f3w (WVA), Michael Landl, podkre\u015bli\u0142 w\u00f3wczas, \u017ce dokument stanowi ulepszenie w stosunku do projektu Komisji Europejskiej, kt\u00f3ry pozostawia otwart\u0105 furtk\u0119 dla zakaz\u00f3w aromat\u00f3w i wy\u017cszych podatk\u00f3w, ale ignoruj\u0105c potencja\u0142 produkt\u00f3w do waporyzacji, wci\u0105\u017c mija si\u0119 z celem.<\/p>\n
