De groep waarschuwde dat de bijeenkomst het risico loopt een &quot;echokamer te worden voor achterhaald, antiwetenschappelijk beleid&quot;.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>De WVA drong er bij de WHO op aan om tabakschadebeperking te erkennen als een instrument om rokers te helpen over te stappen op minder schadelijke alternatieven. Volgens de WVA zouden consumentenperspectieven en wetenschappelijke bevindingen over producten zoals vapen, verhitte tabak en nicotinezakjes onderdeel moeten uitmaken van het beleidsdebat.<\/p>\n<p>Ze merkten op dat THR is ontworpen om de gezondheidsrisico&#039;s van tabaksgebruik te minimaliseren door minder risicovolle alternatieven te promoten.
