De Canadese regering vraagt om commentaar op haar <\/span>Tabaks- en dampwet (TVPA)<\/span><\/a> en heeft onlangs een <\/span>overleg<\/span><\/a> waarin het "mensen met geleefde en levende ervaringen met tabaksgebruik" vraagt om deel te nemen. In feite verbood de TVPA een breed scala aan vaping-smaken, een maatregel die verschillende negatieve onbedoelde gevolgen kan hebben voor de volksgezondheid. U weet hoe belangrijk smaken zijn! Daarom moeten we uw stem nu meer dan ooit laten horen. We hebben u nodig om op te staan tegen smaakbeperkingen die de inspanningen om te stoppen met roken in Canada in gevaar brengen en de Canadese overheid te vragen een open benadering te volgen ten aanzien van alternatieve nicotineproducten.<\/span><\/p>\n

Uw deelname aan de komende consultatie is van cruciaal belang om ervoor te zorgen dat de rechten en keuzes van Canadese vapers worden beschermd. <\/span>De consultatieperiode eindigt op 3 november! <\/b>Hieronder vindt u een gids over waarom het belangrijk is dat u deelneemt en hoe u dat kunt doen!<\/span><\/p>\n

Waarom uw deelname belangrijk is:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Vapen heeft de pogingen van honderdduizenden rokers in Canada om te stoppen met roken ondersteund door hen een minder schadelijk alternatief te bieden. Smaken spelen een centrale rol in het proces van stoppen, waardoor de overgang voor velen aangenamer en effectiever wordt. Het verbod op de meeste smaken in Canada ondermijnt deze pogingen, voorkomt dat rokers overstappen en dwingt vapers terug naar roken en naar de zwarte markt, wat de vooruitgang van het afgelopen decennium in gevaar brengt. We hebben u nodig om uw stem te laten horen en aan Canadese politici uit te leggen hoe vapen u heeft geholpen om te stoppen en hoe belangrijk vaping-smaken in dit proces waren!<\/span><\/p>\n

Hoe deel te nemen:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Bezoek de <\/span>consultatiepagina<\/span><\/a> en de <\/span>discussie papier pagina<\/span><\/a>, waar u alle relevante informatie vindt over de regulering van vaping-producten in Canada en de stand van zaken rondom de tabaksepidemie.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Bekijk de <\/span>lijst met kernvragen<\/span><\/a> in bijlage A van het discussiestuk.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Open een Word-document, kopieer en plak de belangrijkste vragen die de Canadese overheid stelt en beantwoord de vragen waarvan u denkt dat ze input kunnen leveren. U kunt onze <\/span>uitgebreide indiening<\/span><\/a> met antwoorden op een aantal vragen hier.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Deel uw persoonlijke ervaring met vapen. Leg politici uit hoe het u heeft geholpen met stoppen met roken en een gezonder leven te leiden!<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Vertel Canadese politici hoe belangrijk smaken voor u zijn en welke invloed smaakbeperkingen op u hebben. Of, als u in een land woont waar geen verboden op smaken gelden, welke invloed deze beperkingen op u zouden hebben.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Stel een e-mail op met uw schriftelijke bijdrage.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Vergeet niet om eventuele vermeende of daadwerkelijke belangenconflicten met de tabaks-, vaping- en\/of farmaceutische industrie te melden als u die heeft. Als u die niet heeft, vermeld dat dan ook in uw e-mail!<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Stuur uw schriftelijke inzending naar <\/span>legislativereviewtvpa.revisionlegislativeltpv@hc-sc.gc.ca<\/span><\/a> v\u00f3\u00f3r 3 november<\/span>rd<\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Betrek anderen erbij: moedig uw vaping community, vrienden en familieleden aan om deel te nemen aan de consultatie en hun stem te laten horen. Eenheid onder vapers kan de impact van uw gezamenlijke boodschap versterken.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n


    \nDeelname aan de consultatie is uw kans om op te komen voor de rechten van vapers en bij te dragen aan het vormgeven van de toekomst van vaping-regelgeving in Canada. Door uw ervaring te delen, kunnen Canadese politici de rol begrijpen die alternatieve nicotineproducten kunnen spelen in de strijd tegen tabak en het belang van vaping-smaken bij het stoppen met roken. Uw inbreng kan de oplegging van onnodige beperkingen die schadebeperkingsinspanningen en de keuzevrijheid van vapers belemmeren, opheffen. Samen kunnen we ervoor zorgen dat schadebeperking een prioriteit blijft en dat vapers toegang blijven hebben tot de smaken die hen hebben geholpen met stoppen met roken en een gezonder alternatief omarmen.<\/span><\/p>\n
