In plaats van prioriteit te geven aan het cruciale doel om het aantal rokers te verminderen, richt de WHO haar aandacht op vapen, wat toevallig het krachtigste hulpmiddel is om te stoppen met roken.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In het voorwoord van het rapport stelt directeur-generaal Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus dat vapen de inspanningen tegen roken zou ondermijnen, en beweert hij dat e-sigaretten schadelijk zijn voor zowel de gebruikers als de mensen in hun omgeving.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&quot;Helaas lijkt de WHO de realiteit en wetenschappelijke bewijzen te negeren,&quot; aldus Landl in een <a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/nl_nl\/from-whos-misguided-claims-to-evidence-a-closer-look-at-vapings-role-in-reducing-smoking-rates\/\">stelling<\/a>. \u201cLanden die een open en consumentvriendelijke aanpak hanteren ten aanzien van producten voor schadebeperking behalen aanzienlijk betere resultaten dan landen die het misleidende pad van de WHO volgen.
