De Noorse overheid wil de online verkoop van snus verbieden als onderdeel van een nieuwe tabaksstrategie, een stap die om voor de hand liggende redenen door experts als contraproductief wordt beschouwd.<\/h4>\n

De nieuwe tabaksstrategie van Noorwegen werd opgenomen in een volksgezondheidsrapport<\/a> Gepubliceerd op 31 maart. Secretaris-generaal van de Vereniging van Zweedse Snusfabrikanten, Patrik Str\u00f6mer, zei dat veel van de beperkingen in deze tabaksstrategie vergelijkbaar zijn met die in Zweden zijn ingevoerd en waarschijnlijk hebben bijgedragen aan het bekende succes van Zweden met de dalende rookcijfers. Hij voegde er echter aan toe dat de beschikbaarheid van rookvrije alternatieven zoals snus en nicotinezakjes de doorslaggevende factor was voor het succes van deze maatregelen in Zweden.<\/p>\n

Stromer verwijst naar het feit dat Zweden een indrukwekkende prestatie heeft geleverd. Rookvrije status <\/a>Dit is te danken aan het aanmoedigen van het gebruik van veiligere nicotinealternatieven, met name snus. Helaas lijkt Noorwegen dit cruciale detail te negeren en vraagt het in plaats daarvan om strengere regelgeving voor deze producten.<\/p>\n

Vervolgens een recentere rapport<\/a> Het rapport benadrukte dat het rookpercentage in Zweden de komende maanden onder de 51 per 4000 rokers zal dalen en beschreef de aanpak die tot dit succes heeft geleid. Anders Milton, een van de auteurs van het rapport, benadrukte dat als andere EU-landen de Zweedse strategie zouden overnemen, de situatie in Europa er heel anders uit zou zien.<\/p>\n

Afgelopen oktober keurde de Noorse minister van Volksgezondheid een waarschuwing goed voor zwangere vrouwen over de gevaren van snusgebruik tijdens de zwangerschap. De waarschuwing, waarin de bijwerkingen van snusgebruik tijdens de zwangerschap worden opgesomd, werd goedgekeurd door Ingvild Kjerkol (AP), de Noorse minister van Volksgezondheid en Zorg. Zij gaf aan dat er problemen zijn met veel jonge vrouwen die beginnen met snus, omdat ze er niet mee kunnen stoppen als ze eenmaal zwanger zijn. zwanger<\/a>.<\/p>\n
