Bloomberg Philanthropies heeft zojuist aangekondigd dat het 15.420 miljoen dollar zal investeren in het wereldwijd terugdringen van tabaksgebruik, maar richt zich daarbij helaas op verouderde antirookmaatregelen die niet werken.<\/h3>\n

Gezien de vijandige houding van het agentschap tegenover producten voor het verminderen van tabaksschade, verwachten voorstanders van e-sigaretten helaas verdere antiwetenschappelijke desinformatiecampagnes tegen schadebeperking, aldus een persbericht van het agentschap. Wereld Vapers' Alliantie<\/a> (WVA).<\/p>\n

\u201cDe realiteit is dat Bloomberg Philanthropies<\/a> Ze negeren systematisch de overvloed aan wetenschappelijk bewijs dat wijst op de voordelen van vapen, om nog maar te zwijgen van de ervaringen uit de eerste hand van miljoenen vapers. Vapen is minder schadelijk dan roken en een effectievere methode om te stoppen met roken dan traditionele therapie\u00ebn zoals kauwgom en pleisters. Het beperken of verbieden van de toegang tot vapen zal alleen maar levens kosten\u201d, aldus Michael Landl, directeur van WVA.<\/p>\n
