Wijzigingen in de Taiwanese 'Tobacco Hazard Prevention Act' die vapen verbiedt en verhitte tabak aan banden legt, zullen een negatieve impact hebben op de volksgezondheid.<\/h3>\n

De gewijzigde Wet ter voorkoming van tabaksgevaren<\/a> (\u83f8\u5bb3\u9632\u5236\u6cd5) is goedgekeurd en verbiedt de verkoop, productie en levering van vape-producten. Bovendien verhoogt de maatregel de wettelijke rookleeftijd van 18 naar 20 jaar en stijgt het percentage tabakswaarschuwingen op sigarettenpakjes van 35% naar 50%.<\/p>\n

Verwarmde tabaksproducten<\/a> (HTP's) zouden aan strengere regels worden onderworpen en de reclame ervoor zou verboden worden. Fabrikanten of importeurs van HTP's moeten een gezondheidsrisico-evaluatierapport ter beoordeling indienen voordat ze een vergunning kunnen krijgen om ze te verkopen. Iedereen die betrapt wordt op overtreding van deze regel, kan een forse boete van NT$50 miljoen krijgen.<\/p>\n
