Het land heeft wetgeving doorgevoerd voor een volledig verbod op vapen, maar heeft er ook voor gekozen om het gebruik van verwarmde tabaksproducten te beperken en de verkoop ervan toe te staan (zij het met een kleine stap om het gebruik ervan te beperken).<\/h4>\n<p>De World Vapers&#039; Alliance (WVA) zegt dat &quot;\u2019<i>versterkt de stem van vapers wereldwijd en stelt hen in staat een verschil te maken in hun gemeenschap. Onze leden zijn vapersverenigingen en individuele vapers van over de hele wereld.<\/i>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>De directeur is Michael Landl. Hij komt uit Oostenrijk en woont in Wenen. Hij is een ervaren beleidsmedewerker en een fervent vaper. Hij studeerde aan de Universiteit van St. Gallen en werkte voor diverse overheidsinstanties en het Duitse parlement.<\/p>\n<p>De wetgevende macht van Taiwan keurde een algeheel verbod op vapen goed, evenals verdere beperkingen op alternatieve producten ter beperking van de schadelijke effecten. In de derde lezing stemde de Wetgevende Yuan in met de wijzigingen in de &#039;Tobacco Hazard Prevention Act&#039; om elektronische sigaretten te verbieden, het gebruik van verwarmde tabaksproducten te reguleren en de minimumleeftijd voor roken te verhogen van 18 naar 20 jaar.<\/p>\n<p>De nieuwe wetgeving maakt geen expliciete melding van vapen, maar introduceert in plaats daarvan de term \u201c<i>tabaksachtige producten<\/i>\u201dDe productie, verkoop en levering van dergelijke producten is nu ten strengste verboden.
