De wet zou op 1 juli 2022 in werking treden. De Nederlandse ministerraad stelde de inwerkingtreding van de wet in maart 2022 uit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het smaakverbod, dat vorig jaar werd goedgekeurd, staat alleen de verkoop van vape-producten met tabaksmaak toe. Als onderdeel van de regelgeving heeft het Nederlandse kabinet de lijst met ingredi\u00ebnten die bij de productie worden gebruikt, goedgekeurd. Volgens <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.esigbond.nl\/2022\/03\/24\/flavour-ban-on-e-cigarettes-postponed-for-six-months\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esigbond<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Volgens de Nederlandse brancheorganisatie voor vape-producten bevatte de lijst twee smaakstoffen \u2013 isoforon en pyridine \u2013 waarvan bekend is dat ze kankerverwekkend zijn. De organisatie waarschuwde de overheid voor het probleem. De WVA plaatste een kunstinstallatie voor het Nederlandse parlement met de simpele boodschap &quot;smaken helpen rokers stoppen&quot;. Volwassen gebruikers die met vapen hebben gestopt, geven aan dat smaken, anders dan tabak, een doorslaggevende factor waren om te voorkomen dat ze weer begonnen met roken. Door gearomatiseerde e-liquids te gebruiken, kunnen ze <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/32501490\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">230 procent meer kans om te stoppen<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> roken dan tabaksmaken.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Help mee om smaken en levens te redden in Nederland en neem hier contact op met Nederlandse politici.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Achtergrond<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het smaakverbod in Nederland werd in juni 2020 voor het eerst aangekondigd door voormalig minister van Volksgezondheid Paul Blokhuis \u2013 een groot voorstander van beperkingen op vapen. In december van dat jaar ontving een openbare consultatie een recordaantal reacties, met <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/nl_nl\/98-against-flavour-ban-in-the-netherlands\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">98% verzet tegen de wet<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">WVA deelde afgelopen zomer proefmonsters van smakeloos ijs uit om te protesteren tegen het verbod.
