Dit is de eerste keer dat een Europese instelling publiekelijk erkent dat vapen een cruciale rol speelt bij het stoppen met roken. Tegelijkertijd hebben de Europarlementari\u00ebrs helaas toekomstige verboden op smaakstoffen niet uitgesloten, ondanks het feit dat smaakstoffen een bewezen methode zijn om te stoppen met roken.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>De World Vapers&#039; Alliance (WVA), die duizenden vapers in heel Europa vertegenwoordigt, roept al lang op tot schadebeperking en het gebruik van vapen als hulpmiddel om te stoppen met roken, zodat dit onderdeel wordt van het Europese plan voor Kankerbestrijding tijdens de <a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/nl_nl\/back-vaping-beat-smoking\/\">Terug Vapen Versla Roken<\/a> campagne.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Michael Landl, directeur van de World Vapers&#039; Alliance, gaf commentaar op de uitslag van de stemming van vandaag:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>\u201cEindelijk erkent een EU-instelling dat vapen rokers helpt te stoppen. Dat is een belangrijke stap voorwaarts in onze strijd om levens te redden door de schade veroorzaakt door roken te verminderen. Het toont de kracht van de stem van individuele consumenten die zich verenigen. Nu is het de beurt aan de Commissie om de wetenschap en de ervaringen van miljoenen consumenten niet langer te negeren.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>De formulering van smaken bleef echter ongewijzigd. Europarlementari\u00ebrs verzochten de Commissie om vape-smaken te labelen als &quot;aantrekkelijk voor kinderen&quot; in een poging ze te verbieden.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Carmine Canino, voorzitter van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anpvu.it\/\">ANPVU Itali\u00eb<\/a> en lid van de WVA-adviesraad, voegde toe:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>\u201cWetenschappers, experts op het gebied van schadebeperking en consumenten zijn duidelijk geweest over de negatieve gevolgen van het verbieden of zelfs beperken van smaken. Keer op keer heeft onderzoek aangetoond dat smaken essentieel zijn om roken onder volwassenen te verminderen. We hebben onze beleidsmakers nodig om te luisteren en actie te ondernemen.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Kijkend naar de toekomst, bevindt de Commissie zich in de beginfase van het actualiseren van de Tabaksproductenrichtlijn. Het is nog maar de vraag welke gevolgen de stemming vandaag voor de wetgeving zal hebben als het gaat om vapen.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>\u201c&quot;Het is cruciaal dat experts en consumenten hun stem blijven laten horen.
