{"id":1023,"date":"2022-02-25T11:24:04","date_gmt":"2022-02-25T16:24:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cccwva.wpengine.com\/?p=1023"},"modified":"2022-04-09T03:19:35","modified_gmt":"2022-04-09T07:19:35","slug":"europe-wishing-up-to-vaping","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/nl_nl\/europe-wishing-up-to-vaping\/","title":{"rendered":"Europa wil graag vapen\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nou nou nou \u2013 ik weet dat we strikt genomen geen deel meer uitmaken van de EU, maar het is toch fijn om te zien dat het Europees Parlement heeft gestemd voor de goedkeuring van &quot;\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/doceo\/document\/TA-9-2022-0038_EN.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Het Europese plan om kanker te bestrijden<\/a>\u201c.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Het rapport werd samengesteld door de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/committees\/en\/beca\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Speciaal Comit\u00e9 ter Bestrijding van Kanker (BECA)<\/a>\u00a0en werd aangenomen met een overweldigende meerderheid van 652 stemmen voor, 15 tegen en 27 onthoudingen.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>De BECA werd in september 2020 opgericht en bestaat uit 63 Europarlementari\u00ebrs, 33 volwaardige leden en 30 plaatsvervangers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Tot deze groep behoren onder meer:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/meps\/en\/124988\/DEIRDRE_CLUNE\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Deirdre Clune<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 namens de Fine Gael-partij (Ierland), maar helaas zonder vertegenwoordiging vanuit het Verenigd Koninkrijk \u2013 wat eigenlijk wel te verwachten was.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>De stemming vond plaats op 16 februari 2022 en het lijkt erop dat vapen eindelijk is erkend als een potentieel hulpmiddel om te stoppen met roken!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Het rapport bevat het volgende\u2026<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\u201c&quot;Elektronische sigaretten zouden sommige rokers kunnen helpen om geleidelijk te stoppen met roken.&quot;\u201d<\/blockquote>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Het rapport beveelt ook aan om risico-evaluaties uit te voeren om nicotineproducten te vergelijken met roken.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Michael Landl van de World Vapers Alliance (WVA) gaf de volgende reactie op het nieuws\u2026<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><em>\u201cEindelijk erkent een EU-instelling dat vapen rokers helpt te stoppen. Dat is een belangrijke stap voorwaarts in onze strijd om levens te redden door de schade van roken te verminderen. Het laat de kracht zien van de gezamenlijke stem van individuele consumenten. Nu is het de beurt aan de Commissie om de wetenschap en de ervaringen van miljoenen consumenten niet langer te negeren.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/blockquote>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Bovenstaand citaat is afkomstig van de website van de World Vapers Alliance.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/nl_nl\/press-release-european-parliament-confirms-important-role-of-vaping-to-beat-smoking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Persbericht<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Helaas zijn smaakverboden op dit moment nog niet uitgesloten, maar het is een begin.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>ETHRA meldde deze ontwikkeling op hun website.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ethra.co\/news\/102-eu-recognises-tobacco-harm-reduction-with-the-adoption-of-the-beca-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">De EU erkent de noodzaak van tabakschadebeperking met het BECA-rapport.<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Er is dus nog een lange weg te gaan, maar het is geweldig om te zien dat er rekening wordt gehouden met en geluisterd wordt naar vapers in de EU \u2013 en hopelijk effent dit de weg voor meer acceptatie van vapen buiten het Verenigd Koninkrijk!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecigclick.co.uk\/tobacco-control-review-2022\/\">Oorspronkelijk hier gepubliceerd.<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well well well \u2013 I know we are not strictly in the EU now but it is still lovely to see that the EU Parliament has voted to adopt \u201cEurope\u2019s Beating Cancer Plan\u201c.
