Deze week is de samenvatting een speciale editie, want afgelopen week was een heel belangrijke dag voor de THR-community: Wereld Vapedag. Wat een week was het!<\/span><\/p>\n

De WVA was aanwezig in Zuid-Afrika, Duitsland en Argentini\u00eb met activiteiten en acties die de voordelen benadrukten die rokers kunnen behalen door over te stappen op minder schadelijke nicotinealternatieven. We hebben ook een speciaal informatiecentrum gelanceerd waar u meer informatie kunt vinden over <\/span>Wereld Vape Dag 2026<\/span><\/a> en de campagne die erachter zat.<\/span><\/p>\n

Deze week waren we ook te zien in media over de hele wereld, waarbij het belang werd benadrukt van het vieren van Wereld Vape Dag op de dag v\u00f3\u00f3r Wereld Geen Tabaksdag, die door de WHO wordt gevierd. Terwijl de WHO blijft aandringen op restrictief beleid, blijft de THR-gemeenschap luid en eensgezind de successen op het gebied van schadebeperking wereldwijd vieren \u2013 zowel voor ex-rokers als voor de mensen om hen heen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Neem bijvoorbeeld eens een kijkje bij dit artikel dat is gepubliceerd in <\/span>Zondag Wereld<\/span><\/a>, waarin we uitleggen waarom het huidige tabaksbeleid van Zuid-Afrika contraproductief is en de doelstellingen op het gebied van de volksgezondheid dreigt te ondermijnen. Ook een artikel van is de moeite waard.<\/span> Brussel Rapport<\/span><\/a> over hoe consumenten zich verzetten tegen desinformatie en opkomen voor het verminderen van de schadelijke gevolgen van tabak.<\/span><\/p>\n

Verderop publiceerde We Are Innovation een <\/span>uitstekende studie<\/span><\/a> Hieruit blijkt dat maar liefst 73% (4 miljard mensen) van vrienden en familieleden die hebben gezien hoe een dierbare overstapte op een innovatief nicotineproduct, geloven dat het aanzienlijk minder schadelijk is dan sigaretten. Absoluut de moeite waard om te lezen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Deze week kwam de hele THR-community samen om Wereld Vapedag te vieren. Bedankt dat jullie de krachten hebben gebundeld, de boodschap hebben verspreid en de strijd voor op bewijs gebaseerd beleid en keuzevrijheid voor de consument voortzetten.<\/span><\/p>\n
