De World Vapers' Alliance (WVA) waarschuwt dat de "Betere Regelgeving"-agenda van de Europese Commissie afdwaalt van haar doel door de burgers die zij beweert te dienen buitenspel te zetten en consultaties te gebruiken als een formaliteit in plaats van als bewijs om beleid te onderbouwen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Als onderdeel van de\u00a0oproep tot bewijs<\/a>, Het secretariaat-generaal verklaart: \u201cHet betere regelgevingskader van de Commissie \u2013 door de OESO erkend als een van de beste ter wereld \u2013 is een kerninstrument van de EU-beleidsvorming. Voorstellen van de Commissie moeten gebaseerd blijven op het best beschikbare bewijsmateriaal, onder meer via raadplegingen van belanghebbenden, met het oog op het realiseren van de gewenste effecten in de praktijk.<\/i>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gezien de bereidheid om in het verleden belangrijk bewijsmateriaal te negeren, zullen velen de oprechtheid in twijfel trekken van de schijnbare wens van de Europese Commissie om beleid te baseren op feiten.<\/p>\n

In de World Vapers' Alliance\u00a0bijdrage<\/a>\u00a0In reactie op de oproep van de Commissie tot het indienen van bewijsmateriaal benadrukt de consumentenorganisatie dat burgers centraal moeten blijven staan bij de totstandkoming van EU-wetgeving en een re\u00eble, praktische kans moeten krijgen om regels vorm te geven die rechtstreeks van invloed zijn op hun leven.<\/p>\n
