Wij reageerden met een <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/nl_be\/french-health-agency-confirms-vaping-less-harmful-than-smoking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">persbericht<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> waarbij het belang van dergelijke op bewijs gebaseerde rapporten van gerenommeerde gezondheidsinstellingen wordt benadrukt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Terwijl we in Frankrijk positieve ontwikkelingen zien, blijft Australi\u00eb ons verrassen \u2013 helaas niet in positieve zin. De WVA heeft <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/nl_be\/australias-vape-prohibition-is-fueling-a-violent-black-market\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">officieel ingediend<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Het bedrijf heeft zijn getuigenis afgelegd aan de Senaatscommissie voor Juridische en Constitutionele Zaken, waarin het waarschuwt dat de restrictieve wetgeving rond e-sigaretten in Australi\u00eb de belangrijkste oorzaak is van de escalerende crisis rond illegale tabak en nicotine in het land. Hoewel de verwachtingen laag zijn, hopen we toch dat beleidsmakers op een dag zullen luisteren. De rechtvaardiging hiervoor lijkt te zijn dat sommige consumenten deze apparaten misbruiken met illegale middelen. Maar het werkelijke probleem is de zwarte markt. Illegale producten zijn het resultaat van ongereguleerde handel, en verdere beperkingen op legale producten zullen dit probleem niet oplossen. In plaats van legale alternatieven te verbieden, zouden de autoriteiten zich moeten richten op het aanpakken van de illegale handel door middel van slimmere regelgeving en handhaving.
