De World Vapers' Alliance heeft het nieuwe wetsvoorstel van de Spaanse regering tegen tabak scherp veroordeeld. Het wetsvoorstel stelt alle alternatieve nicotineproducten gelijk aan traditionele sigaretten. Hoewel eerder dit jaar al een verbod op smaakstoffen en het feitelijke verbod op nicotinezakjes werden aangekondigd in een apart koninklijk decreet, breidt dit wetsvoorstel de rookverboden uit naar producten met een verlaagd risico, waardoor cruciale verschillen met traditionele sigaretten verdwijnen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

De World Vapers' Alliance vertelde Planet of the Vapes dat het wetsvoorstel rookvrije zones uitbreidt naar terrassen van bars en restaurants, stranden, stadions, universiteiten, bushaltes, sommige priv\u00e9voertuigen en andere. Dit omvat expliciet vapen.<\/u>, Ook verhitte tabaksproducten en nicotinezakjes vallen onder dezelfde beperkingen, ondanks duidelijk bewijs dat ze aanzienlijk lagere risico's met zich meebrengen voor zowel gebruikers als omstanders.<\/p>\n

De organisatie noemde het wetsvoorstel "\u201cschokkend<\/i>\u201d"en zegt dat het een aanbeveling van de Europese Commissie volgt om rookvrije zones ook voor vapen te gelden \u2014 "\u201ceen voorstel dat vorig jaar door het Europees Parlement werd verworpen.<\/i>\u201d.<\/p>\n
