Artikel 6 van het document laat zien dat de wetgevers een absurde belastingverhoging van \u20ac 0,20 per milliliter op e-vloeistoffen voorstellen. Voorstanders van schadebeperking zeggen dat dit een maatregel is die &quot;de prijzen voor consumenten die vapen gebruiken als een veiliger alternatief voor roken drastisch zal verhogen&quot;.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>De World Vapers&#039; Alliance en de Kroatische vapersvereniging CHROM hebben beiden de inhoud van het belastingvoorstel en de overhaaste procedure, die de democratische participatie ondermijnt, veroordeeld.<\/p>\n<p>Ze gaven aan dat het zeer zorgwekkend was dat de periode voor openbare raadpleging extreem kort was, slechts zeven dagen, waardoor de mogelijkheden voor consumenten, gezondheidsdeskundigen en belangenorganisaties om een reactie te organiseren ernstig werden beperkt.<\/p>\n<p>CHROM heeft uitgevoerd\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/crohm.hr\/rezultati-ankete-utjecaj-trosarine-na-e-tekucine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">een enqu\u00eate<\/a>\u00a0van vapers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>De gemiddelde leeftijd van de respondenten was 44 jaar.<\/li>\n<li>Het gemiddelde aantal jaren dat iemand rookte voordat hij of zij overstapte op e-sigaretten was 20 jaar.<\/li>\n<li>89,41% van de respondenten gebruikt uitsluitend e-sigaretten.<\/li>\n<li>11,6% van de respondenten waren duale gebruikers.<\/li>\n<li>97% van de respondenten gebruikt e-vloeistoffen om bij te vullen.<\/li>\n<li>86% gebruik zelfgemaakte smaken en basissen<\/li>\n<li>12% gebruikt kant-en-klare e-liquids van 10 ml.<\/li>\n<li>1.5% gebruikt wegwerp-e-sigaretten<\/li>\n<li>0.4% gebruik verhitte tabak (IQOS, Glo, enz.)<\/li>\n<li>Als er een belasting wordt ingevoerd, gaf meer dan 801.400 respondenten aan dat ze de binnenlandse markt zouden omzeilen door online te winkelen, in het buitenland te kopen of gebruik te maken van de zwarte markt.<\/li>\n<li>Bijna 1 op de 5 respondenten gaf aan dat ze waarschijnlijk weer sigaretten zullen gaan roken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Alberto G\u00f3mez Hern\u00e1ndez, beleidsmanager bij de World Vapers&#039; Alliance, vertelde Planet of the Vapes: \u2019<i>Deze belasting zal de prijzen opdrijven, rokers ervan weerhouden over te stappen op vapen en uiteindelijk levens kosten. De overheid gaat niet alleen de verkeerde kant op door vapers als melkkoe te behandelen en belastinginkomsten boven de volksgezondheid te stellen, maar ontneemt burgers ook een eerlijke kans om hun mening te uiten.
