Bernhard Mayer \u2013 een duidelijke boodschap naar de WHO: De oorlog tegen vapen en andere alternatieven moet stoppen!<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Mendelsohn, een Australische expert, heeft duidelijk gesteld dat de huidige aanpak van de WHO tegen vapen zal leiden tot meer doden en leed door roken, en hij heeft gelijk! Vapen heeft al miljoenen rokers geholpen om definitief te stoppen. De WHO moet eindelijk luisteren naar consumenten en de wetenschap om 200 miljoen levens wereldwijd te redden.<\/p>\n<p>De World Vapers&#039; Alliance staat volledig achter de experts en dringt er bij de WHO op aan haar huidige standpunt over vapen en soortgelijke alternatieven te herzien. Hieronder presenteren we onze drie belangrijkste verzoeken aan de Wereldgezondheidsorganisatie in aanloop naar hun tabaksbestrijdingsconferentie COP9 in november:<\/p>\n<p>Wat consumenten van de WHO verwachten:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>De erkenning en toepassing van methoden voor het verminderen van de schadelijke gevolgen van tabaksgebruik.<\/li>\n<li>Het recht op toegang en betaalbaarheid voor consumenten.<\/li>\n<li>De effectieve deelname van consumenten aan discussies tijdens COP-bijeenkomsten.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Miljoenen consumenten wereldwijd zijn gestopt met roken dankzij minder schadelijke alternatieven. Producten voor schadebeperking (zoals e-sigaretten, nicotinezakjes, snus en andere) kunnen miljoenen levens redden.
