Dan zal de WHO waarschijnlijk de internationale inspanningen om de schadelijke gevolgen van tabak te verminderen staken en miljoenen rokers veroordelen tot een vroegtijdige dood&quot;, voegde Loucas toe in een recent persbericht.<\/p>\n<p>De gedreven voorvechter van tabakschadebeperking is de hoofdorganisator van de 24-uurs sCOPe-uitzending van deze week, die is opgezet om de COP9-conferentie van de WHO voor het Raamverdrag inzake tabaksbestrijding (FCTC) onder de loep te nemen. &quot;sCOPe \u2013 het informatie-tegengif voor de geheimzinnige COP9-conferentie van de WHO \u2013 is een vijfdaagse simultane uitzending op YouTube die begint op maandag 8 november&quot;, aldus het persbericht.<\/p>\n<p><strong>domein<\/strong><br \/>\nsCOPe wil vapers een stem geven, aangezien zij bij alle discussies tijdens COP9 waren uitgesloten.<\/p>\n<p>De wereldwijde uitzending biedt een podium aan THR-experts en consumentenvertegenwoordigers die zich inzetten voor veiligere nicotineproducten. Het doel is om vapers een stem te geven, aangezien zij tijdens COP9 van alle discussies werden uitgesloten. sCOPe wordt momenteel gelijktijdig uitgezonden op YouTube via https:\/\/bit.ly\/3aWBPxi en op Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>Loucas benadrukte terecht dat de COP9-delegaten open zouden moeten staan voor al het bewijsmateriaal over alles wat te maken heeft met het verminderen van de schadelijke gevolgen van tabak, maar helaas is het tegendeel waar. &quot;De COP9-delegaten zouden open moeten staan voor alles wat aantoont dat het de schadelijke gevolgen vermindert en dat de acht miljoen jaarlijkse sterfgevallen door roken wereldwijd kan verminderen en uiteindelijk voorkomen. Toch staan ze niet open voor vapen als de beste opkomende oplossing voor het verminderen van de schadelijke gevolgen van tabak.&quot;\u201c<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c\u2026de COP9-delegatie sluit haar ogen en oren voor een optie tot schadebeperking\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ondertussen blijft de WHO paniek zaaien over bewezen en haalbare alternatieven met verminderde schade. &quot;We zijn ontzet dat de WHO en de COP9-delegatie de ogen en oren sluiten voor een optie met verminderde schade die zich al bewezen heeft door verstokte rokers te helpen stoppen, terwijl gevestigde opties faalden. Het is een triomf van ideologie boven wetenschap&quot;, aldus Loucas.<\/p>\n<p>Ook de World Vapers&#039; Alliance (WVA) heeft zich uitgesproken. Deze week reed de iconische, felroze &#039;Vape Bus&#039; van de groep door de straten van Gen\u00e8ve en zond de stemmen van vapers uit, die persoonlijke verhalen vertelden over hoe vapen hen had geholpen te stoppen met roken en hun leven had veranderd. &quot;We zijn hier vandaag om ervoor te zorgen dat de stem van vapers wordt gehoord en dat vapen wereldwijd een centrale rol speelt in beleid ter bestrijding van roken.
