Hoewel bijna een derde van de volwassen vapers wegwerp-e-sigaretten gebruikt, bleek het in de effectbeoordeling van de overheid lastig te kwantificeren hoeveel vapers zouden terugkeren naar sigaretten als wegwerp-e-sigaretten verboden zouden worden. Dit gebrek aan informatie baart uiteraard grote zorgen op het gebied van de volksgezondheid.<\/p>\n<p>Ondertussen heeft onderzoek van Dr. Sarah Jackson aan UCL enig licht geworpen op de potenti\u00eble mogelijkheden. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vapingpost.com\/2023\/09\/18\/the-uks-ban-on-disposable-vapes-could-undo-a-lot-of-the-progress-it-has-achieved\/\">impact van het verbod<\/a>. Uit het onderzoek bleek dat naar schatting 744.000 ex-rokers het risico lopen op een terugval zodra wegwerp-e-sigaretten niet meer verkrijgbaar zijn. Daarnaast zouden ongeveer 1,2 miljoen huidige rokers baat kunnen hebben bij een volledige overstap op e-sigaretten.<\/p>\n<h4>De overheid heeft niet vastgesteld hoe het verbod de lokale rookcijfers zal be\u00efnvloeden.<\/h4>\n<p>Hoewel een verbod op wegwerp-e-sigaretten een oplossing lijkt om vapen onder jongeren terug te dringen, bleek uit het onderzoek dat... <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vapingpost.com\/2024\/03\/30\/an-epidemic-of-disposable-vapes-bans-is-spreading-across-the-globe\/\">mogelijke onbedoelde gevolgen<\/a> voor volwassen rokers die op zoek zijn naar veiligere alternatieven, en daarom is er behoefte aan zorgvuldige overweging en ondersteuningsmechanismen om de risico&#039;s die aan een dergelijke beleidswijziging verbonden zijn, te beperken.<\/p>\n<p>Vanwege hun lagere prijs worden wegwerp-vapes onevenredig veel gebruikt door mensen uit lagere sociaaleconomische milieus en door mensen met een beperking. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vapingpost.com\/2024\/02\/23\/mental-distress-an-overlooked-factor-as-to-why-teens-are-more-likely-to-vape-than-older-peers\/\">psychische aandoeningen<\/a>.
