{"id":5232,"date":"2023-11-29T05:00:20","date_gmt":"2023-11-29T10:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/?p=5232"},"modified":"2023-11-29T05:25:32","modified_gmt":"2023-11-29T10:25:32","slug":"raise-your-voice-join-the-fight-for-a-better-vaping-regulation-in-ireland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/nl_be\/raise-your-voice-join-the-fight-for-a-better-vaping-regulation-in-ireland\/","title":{"rendered":"Laat je stem horen: strijd mee voor betere regelgeving rondom e-sigaretten in Ierland!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Het Ierse ministerie van Volksgezondheid heeft onlangs een nieuw initiatief gelanceerd. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.ie\/en\/consultation\/a6f8f-public-consultation-on-further-regulation-of-tobacco-and-nicotine-inhaling-products\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">overleg<\/a> om de mening van het publiek te peilen over verdere regulering van tabak en e-sigaretten.<\/p>\n<p>In de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.ie\/pdf\/?file=https:\/\/assets.gov.ie\/277711\/cee9d08b-79a5-4672-8e51-61624a23396a.pdf#page=null\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">samenvattend document<\/a> Tijdens het consultatieproces werd erkend dat vapen minder schadelijk is dan roken; desalniettemin worden er mogelijk aanvullende regelgevingen ingevoerd. De belangrijkste reden hiervoor is om jongeren zowel van roken als van vapen af te houden. Talrijke onderzoeken hebben aangetoond dat vapen <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/35718259\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">geen opstapje naar roken<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Het ministerie van Volksgezondheid stelt echter strengere maatregelen voor met betrekking tot vapen, waaronder een verbod op smaakstoffen, hogere belastingen op vloeistoffen, een verbod op wegwerp-vapes, enzovoort. Al deze voorgestelde beperkingen zouden gericht zijn op volwassenen die roken en de mogelijkheid hebben om te stoppen door te vapen als een aanzienlijk minder schadelijk alternatief.<\/p>\n<p>Het is daarom van cruciaal belang dat vapers in Ierland zich uitspreken en de Ierse beleidsmakers laten weten hoe vapen hun leven heeft veranderd en waarom het ontnemen van hun keuzevrijheid als volwassene schadelijke gevolgen zal hebben voor de volksgezondheid.<\/p>\n<p>De uiterste datum voor de consultatie is 5 januari. Na die datum wordt het consultatieverslag opgesteld op basis van de ontvangen reacties.
