Zeven EU-lidstaten hebben aanzienlijke bedenkingen geuit over hun beperkte rol en de afwijking van de Commissie van de gevestigde praktijken.<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-news-body-text field-type-text-long field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<p>Michael Landl, directeur van de World Vapers&#039; Alliance, verklaarde: \u2019<i>Het is zeer zorgwekkend dat dergelijke cruciale discussies, die miljoenen vapers en rokers in de EU aangaan, mogelijk niet de uiteenlopende standpunten en belangen van alle lidstaten weerspiegelen. De duidelijke anti-schadebeperkingshouding van de Commissie staat in schril contrast met die van verschillende lidstaten die progressiever en succesvoller zijn geweest met hun schadebeperkingsbeleid. Deze landen verdienen het dat hun stem wordt gehoord en versterkt.<\/i>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Volgens een rapport van Politico hebben Bulgarije, Tsjechi\u00eb, Cyprus, Griekenland, Itali\u00eb, Roemeni\u00eb en Slowakije gezamenlijk een verklaring uitgebracht waarin zij de verschuiving van de Commissie van de gebruikelijke consensusgerichte aanpak naar het gebruik van artikel 218 (9) VWEU benadrukken.<\/p>\n<p>Dit geeft de Commissie een meer gecentraliseerde rol in de Panama-onderhandelingen, waardoor individuele landen buitenspel worden gezet.
