Op 4 september koos de World Vapers' Alliance (WVA) voor een innovatieve aanpak om het belang van e-liquidsmaken te benadrukken tijdens het traditionele "Vorw\u00e4rts Sommerfest" dat door SPD in Berlijn werd georganiseerd. We brachten een mobiele cocktailbar mee, waar zowel cocktails met als zonder smaakje werden aangeboden aan de gasten en sprekers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Het was geen verrassing dat de aanwezigen kozen voor de cocktails met smaakjes, terwijl de varianten zonder smaakjes grotendeels onaangeroerd bleven. Met deze demonstratie wilden we benadrukken dat smaken niet alleen belangrijk zijn bij e-sigaretten, maar in alle aspecten van ons leven, inclusief onze drankjes.<\/span><\/p>\n

De hele avond was de stand van de WVA een ontmoetingsplek. We kregen bezoek van verschillende prominente politici: Saskia Esken (partijvoorzitter van de SPD), Kevin K\u00fchnert (secretaris-generaal van de SPD), Verena Hubertz (vicevoorzitter van de SPD-fractie in de Bondsdag) en Karamba Diaby (lid van het uitvoerend comit\u00e9 van de SPD-fractie in de Bondsdag) waren er, naast vele anderen. Deze gesprekken waren zowel leerzaam als essentieel voor onze zaak.<\/span><\/p>\n

Het is de moeite waard om op te merken dat het Duitse parlement in juli 2023 <\/span>uitgebreid<\/span><\/a> de Tabaksproductenwet. Deze herziening verplicht nu waarschuwingslabels op verhitte tabakspods en omvat een verbod op smaakstoffen in deze producten. Gelukkig blijven e-sigaretten buiten dit verbod.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hoewel dit goed nieuws is voor vapers in Duitsland, is het van cruciaal belang te onthouden dat de strijd nog niet voorbij is. Onze <\/span>\u201cSmaken doen ertoe\u201d<\/span><\/a> Deze campagne is een doorlopend initiatief om beleidsmakers te informeren over de cruciale rol van smaken in de dampervaring.<\/span><\/p>\n

De negatieve golf tegen e-sigaretaroma's beperkt zich niet tot Duitsland. Landen als Litouwen, Estland, Denemarken en Hongarije hebben aroma's al verboden. Hoewel andere EU-landen actief beleidsdiscussies voeren over mogelijke soortgelijke maatregelen, werpt de aanstaande herziening van de EU-tabaksproductenrichtlijn een extra schaduw over deze ontwikkelingen. Helaas blijft de dreiging van aromaverboden een dringende zorg.<\/span><\/p>\n

Het is belangrijk om de mogelijke gevolgen van dergelijke verboden te begrijpen. Meer dan <\/span>tweederde<\/span><\/a> van de volwassen vapers gebruikt niet-tabakssmaken, en degenen die smaken gebruiken zijn <\/span>230% waarschijnlijker<\/span><\/a> Om definitief te stoppen met roken.<\/span><\/p>\n
