Veel vapers, waaronder ikzelf, hadden goede hoop, maar verwachtten niet veel van deze bevindingen, omdat het lastig is om positief te blijven als de FDA tot nu toe haar standpunt niet heeft herzien.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Op typische FDA-wijze bevestigden ze slechts twee weken later hun standpunt over e-sigaretten door <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FDATobacco\/status\/1605282391853076480?s=20&amp;t=z9QNHqW8s768cRiQZLHi9g\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">drie video&#039;s opnieuw plaatsen<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> In de video&#039;s wordt uitgelegd hoe je &quot;op de uitkijk kunt staan voor signalen dat je tiener verslaafd zou kunnen zijn aan roken of vapen&quot;. De video&#039;s bevatten bijdragen van Dr. Deepa Camenda, hoogleraar aan Yale, en Dr. Susan Walley van de afdeling Tabaksbestrijding van de American Academy of Pediatrics. Deze boodschap, die ze zogenaamd voor jongeren verspreiden, is duidelijk gericht op ouders die deze vormen van schadebeperking mogelijk zouden kunnen gebruiken als ze zelf roken.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deze acties van de FDA zijn weliswaar teleurstellend, maar geen verrassing voor de vapengemeenschap.
