De Nederlandse overheid is opnieuw een consultatie gestart over smaakverboden\u2026 maar deze keer wil ze verder gaan dan ooit tevoren\u2026<\/p>\n

Er bestaat steeds meer vrees dat nieuwe stappen van de De Nederlandse overheid wil een smaakverbod invoeren.<\/a> Dit zou het einde kunnen betekenen van de gehele vape-industrie in Nederland.<\/p>\n

Een openbare raadpleging over de maatregel werd in september afgesloten en iedereen is benieuwd wat de politici nu gaan doen. Veel mensen maken zich zorgen omdat het Nederlandse Ministerie van Volksgezondheid een limiet wil stellen van slechts 16 'goedgekeurde' stoffen die gebruikt mogen worden om smaakstoffen te cre\u00ebren.<\/p>\n

De Europese belangenorganisatie ETHRA (European Tobacco Harm Reduction Advocates) stelt dat deze stap feitelijk neerkomt op een volledig verbod op e-sigaretten in het land. ETHRA verklaarde:<\/p>\n

\u201c"In de praktijk komt dit in feite neer op een heimelijk verbod op alle e-vloeistoffen.".<\/p>\n

\u201cAlle huidige e-liquids op de markt, inclusief tabakssmaken, zouden worden verboden en nieuwe smaken zouden alleen ontwikkeld mogen worden met de 16 goedgekeurde stoffen.<\/p>\n

\u201c"Dit zou voor geen enkele fabrikant van e-vloeistoffen haalbaar zijn en zou het einde betekenen van de legale markt voor e-sigaretten in Nederland, en bovendien een zeer gevaarlijk precedent scheppen voor de rest van de EU."\u201d<\/p>\n
