De World Vapers' Alliance (WVA), een wereldwijde belangenorganisatie voor de rechten van vapers, presenteerde een 7-stappenplan<\/u><\/a> De Portugese overheid moet de tabaksconsumptie bestrijden.<\/p>\n

Aangezien de aanstaande herziening van de EU-richtlijn inzake tabaksproducten en de implementatie van het Portugese plan ter vermindering van kanker (ENLCC) de strategie voor de bestrijding van tabaksgebruik in Portugal zullen bepalen, heeft WVA, samen met haar Portugese partners Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Portuguesa de Vaporizadores (APORVAP) en Ohms do Vapor, een reeks aanbevelingen gepresenteerd aan politieke besluitvormers over het bevorderen van schadebeperking als onderdeel van de Portugese strategie ter vermindering van kanker.<\/p>\n

Het 7-stappenplan omvat de volgende aanbevelingen:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
    \n
  1. Portugal zet zich duidelijk in voor het concept van het verminderen van de schadelijke gevolgen van tabak.<\/li>\n
  2. Het promoten van vapen als hulpmiddel bij het stoppen met roken.<\/li>\n
  3. Sluit vapen uit van de beperkingen voor rookvrije zones.<\/li>\n
  4. Zie af van het opleggen van hogere belastingen op vapenproducten en verlaag de buitensporige belasting op e-vloeistoffen zo snel mogelijk.<\/li>\n
  5. Verwerp smaakverboden en beperk de keuzevrijheid in nicotinegehaltes voor e-vloeistoffen niet.<\/li>\n
  6. Houd vapen beschikbaar voor volwassenen, maar hanteer leeftijdsbeperkingen om gebruik door adolescenten te voorkomen.<\/li>\n
  7. Het bevorderen van de vermindering van de schadelijke gevolgen van tabaksgebruik binnen de EU-instellingen en -wetgeving.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
