Daarnaast onthulde de WVA een kunstinstallatie in de vorm van een vallende dominosteen die door de Poolse hoofdstad werd verplaatst om de aandacht te vestigen op het belang van het verminderen van de schadelijke gevolgen van tabak.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c&quot;Alleen al in Polen zouden meer dan een miljoen rokers potentieel kunnen overstappen op vapen als de overheid zich zou richten op schadebeperking. Dit betekent dat een miljoen levens gered zouden kunnen worden van tabaksgerelateerde ziekten als politici stoppen met het verbieden van smaakstoffen, het verhogen van belastingen en het verlagen van het nicotinegehalte in e-vloeistoffen. We willen een grondige analyse en een breed publiek debat voorafgaand aan wetgevende maatregelen die het dagelijks leven van Polen be\u00efnvloeden.\u2019 <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">zei Sara Lament-Hamodi, co\u00f6rdinator van de Prawo dla ludzi-campagne.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De Poolse installatie maakt deel uit van de bredere campagne #BackVapingBeatSmokin, die de groep vorige week in Straatsburg lanceerde. WVA plaatste een protestkunstinstallatie met de boodschap &quot;Laat 19 miljoen levens niet verloren gaan&quot; voor het Europees Parlement om de aandacht van de EU-beleidsmakers te vestigen op de Europese noodzaak om schadebeperking te omarmen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In de komende weken organiseert WVA soortgelijke installaties in Tsjechi\u00eb, Itali\u00eb, Portugal en Belgi\u00eb. De groep voert ook een Europees project uit. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/nl_be\/back-vaping-beat-smoking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">verzoekschrift<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Het verzoek aan de EU-beleidsmakers is om vapen te erkennen als een middel om de schadelijke gevolgen van tabak te verminderen en af te zien van overregulering van dit meest succesvolle hulpmiddel bij het stoppen met roken tijdens de komende herziening van de EU-tabaksregelgeving. Het verzoekschrift zal in november worden overhandigd aan het Europees Parlement in Brussel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c&quot;Eerder dit jaar hebben meer dan 24.000 EU-burgers hun stem laten horen tijdens de door de Commissie georganiseerde openbare raadpleging over tabakswetgeving, waarbij ze de toezichthouders vroegen om vapen niet te verbieden.
