{"id":3153,"date":"2022-09-29T10:09:51","date_gmt":"2022-09-29T14:09:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/?p=3153"},"modified":"2022-09-30T07:05:37","modified_gmt":"2022-09-30T11:05:37","slug":"wva-response-netherlands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/nl_be\/wva-response-netherlands\/","title":{"rendered":"Reactie van WVA op de Nederlandse consultatie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Zie de Nederlandse versie hieronder.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Namens de World Vapers&#039; Alliance roepen we beleidsmakers in Nederland op om rekening te houden met het volgende bewijsmateriaal over de cruciale rol die e-sigaretaroma&#039;s spelen bij het stoppen met roken onder volwassenen:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uit onderzoek is gebleken dat<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/ntr\/article\/22\/10\/1831\/5843872?login=false\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tweederde van de vapers<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gebruik tabaksvrije smaken om te stoppen met roken en zijn<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/32501490\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">230% heeft een grotere kans om te stoppen.<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">op deze manier.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Smaakverboden zijn contraproductief omdat ze de productie juist zouden stimuleren.<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/ntr\/article\/22\/10\/1831\/5843872\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5 van de 10 vapers<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Terug naar roken of de zwarte markt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/nl_be\/wva-conducted-a-survey-on-a-perception-of-vaping-policies-worldwide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het onderzoek werd uitgevoerd door de World Vapers&#039; Alliance.<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">bevestigt dat een verbod op smaakstoffen enorme negatieve gevolgen zou hebben voor de volksgezondheid:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Van de 415 reacties zijn 96,8% huidige vapers en 80% voormalige rokers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Op de vraag welke smaken e-sigaretten ze prefereren, antwoordden 97% van de ondervraagden dat ze de voorkeur geven aan e-sigaretsmaken of een combinatie van smaken en tabaksmaak. Slechts 3,4% gaven aan de voorkeur te geven aan tabak.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uit het onderzoek bleek dat als smaakstoffen verboden zouden worden: <\/span><b>meer dan de helft<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Een deel van de vapers zou proberen hun smaakjes op de zwarte markt te krijgen of terug te keren naar roken. 21% zegt dat ze uitsluitend tabakssmaak zouden vapen, en 16% denkt dat ze helemaal zouden stoppen met vapen.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gezien de bovenstaande informatie en het feit dat vapen<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/e-cigarettes-an-evidence-update\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">95% is minder schadelijk dan roken.<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> En<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nejm.org\/doi\/10.1056\/NEJMoa1808779\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">twee keer zo effectief als andere methoden voor schadebeperking.<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Daarom moedigen we beleidsmakers in Nederland aan om vapen met smaakjes te ondersteunen als methode om te stoppen met roken, in plaats van beleid te voeren dat dit verbiedt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u2014<\/p>\n<p><b>WVA&#039;s reactie op de Nederlandse Consultatie<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Namens het World Vaper&#039;s Alliance willen we beleidsmakers informeren dat vapes een rol spelen om roken op te geven.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Studies laten zien dat <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/ntr\/article\/22\/10\/1831\/5843872?login=false\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tweerde van vapers <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">gebruik maken van andere vapesmaken en tabaksmaak om te stoppen met roken.
