De Europese Commissie heeft een verbod op gearomatiseerde e-sigaretten voorgesteld als onderdeel van een plan om kanker te bestrijden.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

De uitvoerende tak van de Europese Unie kondigde het voorstel woensdag (29 juni) aan in een verklaring. Daarin werd uitgelegd dat het volgt op een aanzienlijke toename van de verkoop van gearomatiseerde e-sigaretten in de 27 lidstaten. landen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Uit een door de EU in opdracht uitgevoerd onderzoek bleek een stijging van 10 procent in de verkoop van deze producten in meer dan vijf lidstaten en in de gehele EU, waarbij verhitte tabaksproducten meer dan 2,5 procent van de totale verkoop van tabaksproducten uitmaken.<\/p>\n

Stella Kyriakides, commissaris voor Gezondheid<\/a> en voedselveiligheid, uitgelegd<\/a> dat de EU door het verwijderen van gearomatiseerde e-sigaretten van de markt 'weer een stap zet in de richting van de verwezenlijking van onze visie in het kader van het Europees plan ter bestrijding van kanker, namelijk het cre\u00ebren van een "tabaksvrije generatie"'.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
