Indien aangenomen, zou de wetgeving de verkoop van alle e-vloeistoffen met andere smaken dan tabak hebben verboden.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Michael Landl, directeur van de belangenorganisatie World Vapers Alliance voor vapers, vierde de overwinning om de smaken te behouden:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cVandaag vieren we een enorme overwinning in onze strijd tegen roken. Smaken spelen een doorslaggevende rol bij het stoppen met roken. Als dit verbod was ingevoerd, zouden 150.000 mensen in Zweden \u2013 bijna de hele bevolking van Uppsala \u2013 weer zijn gaan roken. Vapers, lokale activisten en het WVA-team hebben fantastisch werk verricht om hun stem te laten horen. We hebben de politici eindelijk laten luisteren!\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">De World Vapers Alliance heeft zich actief verzet tegen het smaakverbod in Zweden. In maart organiseerde de groep een kunstinstallatie voor het parlement om de stem van Zweedse vapers te laten horen. In mei overhandigde de groep ook een open brief aan de Zweedse parlementari\u00ebrs om de aandacht te vestigen op de wetenschappelijk onderbouwde feiten.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cOnze strijd om smaken te behouden en mensen te helpen een beter leven te leiden is echter nog lang niet voorbij. In zeven Europese landen gelden al verbodsbepalingen op smaken, meer landen hebben dergelijke verboden op de agenda staan en politici bespreken verboden op EU-niveau. We moeten ervoor zorgen dat politici naar de consument luisteren en beslissingen nemen op basis van wetenschappelijk bewijs, dat heeft aangetoond dat vapen veel veiliger is dan roken en dat smaken een belangrijk onderdeel vormen van stoppen met roken\u201d, aldus Landl.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"CToWUd a6T\" tabindex=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/QwKarBiBTMYbetXI6GJMI79Te7FdFI6rlkUPh2OkBjpN0u6_jBSj-nB8GL461QlIlvimgSUuxM_IAwJyV_9L5d3X5RoD27rh-5bLSFDpwbhMDlMkNfphorfObiupRINKB3NTOU06mgS5T5lO8w\" width=\"280\" height=\"187\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">World Vapers Alliance voert de campagne #FavoursMatter om de aandacht te vestigen op de rol van smaken bij het helpen van rokers om te stoppen.
