De Britse autoriteiten volgen de feiten en ondersteunen een methode die daadwerkelijk werkt. Ze moedigen rokers aan om over te stappen op e-sigaretten.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In het Verenigd Koninkrijk adviseert Public Health England, eveneens een agentschap van het Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, rokers actief om over te stappen op e-sigaretten. &quot;Dankzij deze proactieve aanpak boekt het VK betere resultaten in de vermindering van roken in vergelijking met landen waar vapen aan banden is gelegd&quot;, vervolgde Landl. &quot;Het succesvolle volksgezondheidsbeleid en het vapenbeleid van het VK zouden een voorbeeld moeten zijn voor andere landen wereldwijd.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/consumerchoicecenter.org\/from-smoking-to-vaping\/\">Onderzoek<\/a> Dit toont aan dat wetten die vapen als middel om te stoppen met roken faciliteren en aanmoedigen, bijna 200 miljoen huidige rokers zouden kunnen helpen over te stappen op vapen \u2013 een minder schadelijk alternatief.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHet Verenigd Koninkrijk is een baken van hoop voor een verstandig volksgezondheidsbeleid in de strijd tegen roken. In plaats van hun ideologische strijd tegen vapen voort te zetten, zouden regeringen en de WHO de wetenschap moeten volgen en luisteren naar de miljoenen vapers die succesvol zijn gestopt. Gelukkig loopt het Verenigd Koninkrijk voorop.\u201d<\/em> concludeerde Michael Landl.<\/p>\n<p>Later dit jaar zal de wereldwijde COP 9-conferentie de koers bepalen voor het tabaksbeleid \u2013 inclusief het e-sigarettenbeleid \u2013 wereldwijd.
