{"id":1350,"date":"2021-06-10T07:24:41","date_gmt":"2021-06-10T11:24:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/?p=1350"},"modified":"2022-05-12T06:45:07","modified_gmt":"2022-05-12T10:45:07","slug":"press-release-protest-in-netherlands-shows-importance-of-flavours","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/nl_be\/press-release-protest-in-netherlands-shows-importance-of-flavours\/","title":{"rendered":"Protest in Nederland toont het belang van smaken aan."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>9 juni 2021, Den Haag.<\/strong> Vapers gingen woensdagochtend de straten van Den Haag op, terwijl leden van de Gezondheidscommissie bijeenkwamen om het voorstel van de regering tot een verbod op e-sigaretaroma&#039;s te bespreken.<\/p>\n<p>Voor het Huis van Afgevaardigden deelden vapers en eigenaren van vapewinkels samples uit van walgelijk smakend ijs, waarmee ze parlementsleden en het publiek eraan herinnerden dat smaken essentieel zijn voor het succesverhaal van vapen, dat er al voor heeft gezorgd dat honderdduizenden Nederlandse rokers zijn overgestapt van sigaretten.<\/p>\n<p>Foto&#039;s zijn te vinden <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/1Ox2UJvdMtpPcw9k_4V2Ix66_v5G20x2s?usp=sharing\">hier<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Landl, directeur van de World Vapers&#039; Alliance, zei:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Toen dit voorstel ter openbare raadpleging werd voorgelegd, kreeg het een van de grootste reacties ooit, met 981.400.000 respondenten die zich tegen het verbod uitspraken. De boodschap aan de staatssecretaris was duidelijk: e-sigaretten met smaakjes helpen rokers te stoppen, en er is enorme tegenstand tegen zijn belachelijke plan. Vapers zijn woedend dat een interim-regering dit voorgestelde verbod blijft doordrukken na zo&#039;n duidelijke en ondubbelzinnige boodschap.<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In Nederland werd het grootste aantal reacties ooit verzameld bij een openbare raadpleging over gezondheidskwesties: 981.400 van alle ingediende reacties waren tegen het verbod. Er zijn ongeveer 400.000 vapers in het land, waarvan de overgrote meerderheid ex-rokers zijn die met behulp van e-sigaretten zijn gestopt, of huidige rokers die hun sigarettengewoonte proberen af te bouwen.<a href=\"https:\/\/consumerchoicecenter.org\/why-vape-flavors-matter\/\"> Onderzoek<\/a>Uit een onderzoek uit 2020 bleek dat tot wel 260.000 Nederlandse vapers weer zouden kunnen gaan roken als smaakstoffen verboden zouden worden.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEen verbod op smaakstoffen in e-sigaretten zou een ramp voor de volksgezondheid in Nederland betekenen. Het is ongelooflijk dat een interim-regering zulke zeer controversi\u00eble wetgeving, met zulke negatieve gevolgen voor zovelen, probeert in te voeren voordat er een nieuwe regering is gevormd.<\/em>\u201d&quot;, concludeerde WVA-directeur Michael Landl.<\/p>\n<p>Gezien het sterke verzet van burgers, via de eerdergenoemde openbare raadpleging en het protest van vandaag, en gezien het gebrek aan legitimiteit van dit kabinet, is het volstrekt onethisch om dergelijke acties te ondernemen.
