{"id":1346,"date":"2021-04-22T13:53:28","date_gmt":"2021-04-22T17:53:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/?p=1346"},"modified":"2022-05-16T11:01:57","modified_gmt":"2022-05-16T15:01:57","slug":"tripling-price","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/nl_be\/tripling-price\/","title":{"rendered":"Het verdrievoudigen van de prijs van e-liquids zal een &#039;catastrofaal effect&#039; hebben..."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Berlijn, 22-04-2021.<\/strong> Het nieuwe wetsvoorstel over de tabaksbelasting dat de Duitse regering vandaag heeft ingediend, zal catastrofale gevolgen hebben en een enorme nieuwe zwarte markt voor e-sigarettenproducten ontketenen, aldus Michael Landl, directeur van de World Vapers&#039; Alliance.<\/p>\n<p>Het wetsvoorstel stelt voor om de belastingen op e-vloeistoffen enorm te verhogen, terwijl de belastingen op traditionele sigaretten slechts matig worden verhoogd. De prijs van nicotinehoudende e-vloeistoffen zal verdrievoudigen als de wet wordt aangenomen.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Landl zei na de aankondiging het volgende:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cDe overheid zegt dat deze belastingen de volksgezondheid zullen verbeteren, maar de realiteit is precies het tegenovergestelde. Als minder schadelijk alternatief moet vapen betaalbaarder zijn dan roken, om rokers aan te moedigen te stoppen. Als overheden de last van roken voor de volksgezondheid willen verminderen, moeten ze vapen betaalbaarder en toegankelijker maken, niet minder.\u201d.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Naast de liberale en groene oppositiepartijen, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.welt.de\/wirtschaft\/article230538581\/Steuer-auf-E-Zigaretten-ein-Fest-fuer-Schmuggler-Schieber-und-Faelscher.html\">Duitse politiebond<\/a> sprak zich publiekelijk uit tegen de belastingverhoging. Ze stelden dat dergelijke belastingverhogingen een welkome &quot;start voor smokkelaars en vervalsers&quot; zouden zijn. De Duitse douane-unie, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bundesfinanzministerium.de\/Content\/DE\/Gesetzestexte\/Gesetze_Gesetzesvorhaben\/Abteilungen\/Abteilung_III\/19_Legislaturperiode\/2021-03-24-TabStMoG\/Stellungnahme-BDZ.pdf?__blob=publicationFile&amp;v=2\">BDZ<\/a>, Hij zei: &quot;Vanwege de aanzienlijke belastingdruk op bijvoorbeeld vloeistoffen zal er onvermijdelijk een zwarte markt voor belastingontduiking ontstaan.&quot;\u201c<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Duurdere e-sigaretten zullen vooral lagere inkomensgroepen treffen, omdat zij de grootste groep rokers in Duitsland vormen&quot;, vervolgde Landl.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHoge belastingen treffen vooral de minst bevoordeelden. De basisprincipes van de economie leren ons dat hogere prijzen voor e-sigaretten leiden tot een toename van het aantal rokers. Ofwel negeert de overheid de economische wetten, ofwel denkt ze dat ze op korte termijn een gat in de staatskas kan vullen ten koste van mensen die willen stoppen met roken.
