Het doel is om kwesties met betrekking tot roken te bespreken zonder moreel oordeel, en alle belanghebbenden bij dit debat te betrekken. De voorzitter van DIRETA, journalist en voormalig roker Alexandro Lucian, zei:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&quot;We willen de impact van sigarettenconsumptie op de gezondheid verminderen, die uiteindelijk veel geld kost en vooral veel levens kost.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>Wij pleiten voor een niet-ideologisch debat, gebaseerd op wetenschappelijke feiten, en bestrijden desinformatie die rokers stigmatiseert in plaats van minder schadelijke alternatieven voor nicotinegebruik te verwelkomen en aan te bieden, alternatieven die al bewezen effectief zijn in het verminderen van schade en het redden van levens.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Een van de belangrijkste actiegebieden van DIRETA zal de verspreiding zijn van wetenschappelijke inhoud die praktijken met een lager gezondheidsrisico aanmoedigt, waarbij strategie\u00ebn gebaseerd op onthouding worden overwogen om schade te beperken.<\/p>\n<p>De groep wil ook in dialoog treden met overheidsinstanties om ervoor te zorgen dat mensen die nicotine gebruiken, worden betrokken bij het formuleren van overheidsbeleid inzake tabaksgebruik en de daarmee samenhangende factoren.<\/p>\n<p>De World Vapers&#039; Alliance is verheugd nieuwe partners te verwelkomen en samen te strijden voor het recht van consumenten om te vapen!<\/p>\n<p>Meer informatie over DIRETA is beschikbaar op: www.direta.org<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The World Vapers\u2019 Alliance has a new partner!\u00a0 DIRETA DIRETA \u2013 The Information Directory for Tobacco Harm Reduction is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation formed by nicotine users, health professionals, representatives from the legal, social and environmental fields.
