Er dreigt een ramp voor de volksgezondheid. Door duizenden vapewinkels te sluiten, zullen veel vapers terugvallen op roken. Het is onlogisch om juist dat product aan te pakken dat hen hielp te stoppen met roken. Synthetische nicotine is een innovatieve manier om de schadelijke effecten van roken te verminderen en mensen een alternatief te bieden voor traditionele sigaretten\u201d, aldus Landl.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cHet doel van schadebeperking is het verminderen van de negatieve gevolgen voor mensen die niet kunnen stoppen met roken. Het is in veel landen over de hele wereld effectief gebleken en heeft miljoenen mensen geholpen om te stoppen met roken. Het land van de vrijheid zou deze landen moeten volgen in plaats van een betuttelende overheid te worden.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Producten met synthetische nicotine zullen onderworpen worden aan de Premarket Tobacco Application (PMTA)-procedure, waarbij bedrijven een vergunning moeten aanvragen om op de markt te mogen blijven. Dit vormt een aanzienlijke uitdaging voor nieuwe e-sigarettenbedrijven om te overleven en maakt het daardoor moeilijker voor consumenten om vapenproducten te verkrijgen.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201c&quot;Veel bedrijven beschikken niet over de middelen om de aanvraag voor markttoelating van tabaksproducten in te dienen, zoals vereist is volgens de FDA-regelgeving.
