La Giornata Mondiale dello Svapo 2026 si svolge sotto il tema Un solo interruttore: tutti vincono<\/em>. Quando un fumatore smette di fumare, non \u00e8 solo la sua salute a cambiare. Il fumo passivo aumenta il rischio di asma, polmonite e bronchite nei bambini. Il fumo materno causa basso peso alla nascita, parto prematuro e morte fetale. I figli di fumatori hanno fino a quattro volte pi\u00f9 probabilit\u00e0 di diventare a loro volta fumatori abituali. Un interruttore elimina quasi tutto questo dalla casa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

IL scienza<\/a> \u00c8 chiaro. Le sigarette elettroniche, le bustine di nicotina e i prodotti a riscaldamento del tabacco riducono drasticamente l'esposizione alle sostanze chimiche che uccidono i fumatori. La nicotina crea dipendenza, ma non \u00e8 la causa delle malattie legate al fumo. Il vero pericolo \u00e8 la combustione. Eliminando il fumo, il profilo di rischio cambia radicalmente.<\/p>\n

I consumatori lo sanno. Questa settimana, svapatori e sostenitori della riduzione del danno in Argentina, Germania e Sudafrica sono scesi in piazza per chiedere politiche sensate che offrano ai fumatori alternative concrete invece di spingerli di nuovo verso le sigarette.<\/p>\n
