I tassi di fumatori si sono ridotti quasi della met\u00e0 dal 2013, con cali osservati in tutte le fasce d&#039;et\u00e0 e in entrambi i sessi.<\/p>\n<p>I numeri sono impressionanti. Tra i giovani di et\u00e0 compresa tra i 18 e i 29 anni, il consumo giornaliero di sigarette \u00e8 sceso a 2,9 per 100.000 persone. L&#039;uso di bustine di nicotina e snus nella stessa fascia d&#039;et\u00e0 \u00e8 pari a 29 per 100.000 persone. Il modello \u00e8 chiaro: con la maggiore accessibilit\u00e0 di alternative meno dannose, i fumatori sono passati a queste ultime. La Svezia non ha ottenuto questo risultato vietando il tabacco, ma offrendo alle persone delle alternative.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Landl, direttore della World Vapers&#039; Alliance, ha dichiarato:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201cLa Svezia dimostra cosa si pu\u00f2 ottenere con la riduzione del danno quando i responsabili politici basano le politiche su dati concreti e si fidano dei consumatori. Mentre la Svezia celebra un traguardo importante in materia di salute pubblica, basato sulla riduzione del danno, Bruxelles si muove nella direzione opposta. Restrizioni sugli aromi, tasse punitive sui prodotti alternativi alla nicotina e crescenti pressioni per equiparare tutti i prodotti a base di nicotina alle sigarette tradizionali: queste sono le caratteristiche distintive della politica europea in materia di tabacco. Questo divario non \u00e8 casuale.<\/p>\n<p>La World Vapers&#039; Alliance invita i responsabili politici dell&#039;UE a prendere seriamente l&#039;esperienza svedese.
