Da quando il mondo ha iniziato a celebrare il successo svedese nel raggiungimento dell&#039;obiettivo 5% di un&#039;abolizione del fumo, tutti gli occhi sono puntati sull&#039;UE come motore di riduzione del danno e innovazione. Se la Commissione europea decidesse di estendere ulteriormente il divieto di snus alle bustine di nicotina, non solo metterebbe a repentaglio i propri obiettivi di astinenza dal fumo, ma metterebbe a repentaglio gli sforzi per smettere di fumare in tutto il mondo.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Mentre la Svezia \u00e8 riuscita a ridurre significativamente il tasso di fumo negli ultimi decenni grazie all&#039;esenzione dal divieto di snus imposto dall&#039;UE, le bustine di nicotina non ricevono lo stesso trattamento e sono quindi anch&#039;esse a rischio in Svezia.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201c<em>Purtroppo, l&#039;eccezione svedese per lo snus di tabacco non si applica alle porzioni di nicotina. Se la Commissione Europea e gli Stati membri accetteranno la raccomandazione del rapporto, anche lo snus bianco sar\u00e0 vietato in Svezia. Gli uomini hanno in gran parte rinunciato al fumo a favore dello snus, mentre le donne in cerca di alternative meno pericolose scelgono pi\u00f9 spesso lo snus bianco.
